Broadcast Solutions delivers new Streamline S12 OB truck to brutal gueet

Broadcast Solutions, one of Europe’s leading system integrators for broadcast and media, has delivered a new Streamline S12 UHD/HDR OB van to Swiss broadcast service provider brutal gueet.

Bingen (Germany), 22.10.2025

With the new Streamline S12, the Swiss company expands its production resources with a state-of-the-art mobile production unit, signalling its commitment to further growth in Switzerland and beyond. brutal gueet has been in production with the new Streamline S12 since October 2025.

The Streamline S12 is part of the successful Streamline family of OB vehicles developed by Broadcast Solutions to make OB van construction faster, easier and more efficient. Despite the “standardised” concept, Broadcast Solutions offers its customers a wide range of configuration options to tailor each vehicle to individual production needs. The result is mobile production units that deliver significant cost advantages and shorter delivery times – without any compromise on quality, innovation or future-readiness.

The vehicle built for brutal gueet is a 12-camera OB van, prepared for UHD-HDR workflows and featuring a three-room design, flexible production areas, and generous storage space with an additional workspace and hydraulic lift. Equipped with an expandable side, the van comfortably accommodates 14 staff members. During the design phase, Broadcast Solutions placed particular emphasis on flexibility. The storage compartment includes an additional workstation, while the audio control room is arranged crosswise, allowing the audio engineer to maintain visual contact with the production area through a window – a small but crucial detail that simplifies work in live environments.

Technically, the S12 impresses with cutting-edge equipment enabling HD/HDR and UHD/HDR production. It features eight (expandable to twelve) Sony HDC-3500 cameras with Fujinon lenses, including three large-lens systems. Signal routing is handled via a Ross Ultrix 5RU router and multiviewer system, fully 12G-capable. A Sony MLS-X1 vision mixer is at the heart of video operations, supported by two EVS VIA Sportlight systems and two AJA Ki Pro HDD recorders. Signal processing is managed by Ross and Cobalt components, providing SDR/HDR conversion, while Konvision monitors ensure precise visual control.

Matthias Hahn, Senior Quotation/Project Manager at Broadcast Solutions and project lead for the S12, commented: “Together with our client, we were able to plan and complete the new OB van in a remarkably short time. A particular highlight was the vehicle’s presentation at the IBC show, where we received extremely positive feedback together with the brutal gueet team – without delaying the delivery schedule. brutal gueet were delighted with our work – from planning to production to the final configuration. In my view, the S12 is once again an excellent example of what the Broadcast Solutions team can achieve and how close collaboration on equal terms with our customers truly pays off.”

In terms of audio, the S12 sets new standards for multilingual productions. The audio control room is centred around a Lawo mc²56 console with 48 faders, DirectOut interfaces, and Genelec 5.1 loudspeakers. The setup is complemented by Sennheiser microphones, two audio/video stageboxes, one wireless stagebox, and multiple commentator panels. As many productions in Switzerland are produced simultaneously in multiple languages, the design required maximum flexibility and openness to workflow adaptations.

Communication and infrastructure are managed via a Riedel Intercom 1024 and an Arista network. The S12 is equipped with a powerful UPS unit, ensuring uninterrupted operation even under full load in the event of a power failure. Vehicle control and monitoring are handled by the hi human interface system, offering maximum flexibility and scalability for future upgrades. Its intuitive, user-friendly interface allows for significant process simplification and automation.

Jonas Zurbriggen, COO of brutal gueet, expressed his satisfaction with the new production vehicle: “We are extremely pleased with the Streamline S12, especially in terms of technology and production capabilities. The high-quality build and the seamless project execution with the Broadcast Solutions team were outstanding – particularly considering the very short construction period of around six months.”

Since its founding in 2018, brutal gueet has established itself as a flexible production partner for sport, events, film and corporate content. With the new Streamline S12, the company continues this path consistently, significantly expanding its production capacities.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the new vehicle in person today at the brutal gueet Industry Insides Day on 22 October in Baden, Switzerland.
