Junior / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (All genders)

Your mission

• Design and development of broadcast vehicles, TV/radio studios, and specialty vehicles
• Design of parts and components for vehicle and interior construction, taking into account the technical requirements of the overall system
• Creation of manufacturing documentation for in-house production and external suppliers using 3D and 2D CAD applications (Inventor, AutoCAD)
• Collaborating and coordinating with project management, customers, specialized departments, and suppliers
• Evaluating customer-specific requirements in terms of technical feasibility, quality, costs, and deadlines
• Selecting materials and designs appropriate for the respective applications
• Preparation of technical documentation and supporting materials
• For entry-level professionals: Gradual onboarding into the design process, as well as support in developing technical solutions and CAD models
• Collaboration on exciting projects in the broadcast sector, such as OB vans, control rooms, flight cases, and custom solutions

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, technical training, or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or automotive engineering
• You have strong CAD and MS Office skills
• You work independently and in a structured manner

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship in metal fabrication, carpentry, or a comparable technical or skilled trade
• Ideally, you have already gained some initial professional experience
• You are interested in design, technology, and technical concepts
• You’re looking to develop both professionally and personally

• The ability to work well in a team and a solution-oriented mindset
• A sense of responsibility and the ability to take initiative
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Occasional business travel is no problem for you
• Enthusiasm for innovative technical solutions
