Specialist* Customs and Export Control (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Customs clearance & compliance: Independent handling of all customs procedures   (import, export, intra-Community shipments) in compliance with all legal requirements.

• Special and transit traffic: Organization and control of special customs traffic (e.g., temporary use, ATA Carnet).

• Export control: Monitoring and compliance with all relevant export control regulations  (goods lists, embargoes, dual-use goods).

• Transport management: Coordination and handling of international shipments (air freight, sea freight, road transport).

• Authority management: Administration of customs approvals at the relevant main customs office and communication with authorities (Chamber of Industry and Commerce, BAFA, customs offices).

• Administration: Performance of general administrative tasks in the department and maintenance of customs-related documentation.

You convince with your profile:

• You are a professional in the field of customs and logistics and would like to contribute your knowledge to an exciting, globally active technology company.

• You already have in-depth knowledge of import and export procedures (preferential rights, origin of goods, tariff classification).

• You already have practical experience in organizing and executing international shipments (air/sea/road).

• You are confident in using MS Office and ideally have knowledge of a common merchandise management/customs IT system.

• Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English.

• Experience in export control and dealing with special customs procedures is desirable.

• You have completed commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding agent or have a comparable qualification.
