Broadcast Solutions Finland Oy delivered a virtual studio for its Finnish customer Streamteam Nordic Oy in the end of last year and the new virtual studio was taken into use already on 1st January 2018. Streamteam uses the brand-new virtual studio mainly to produce Finnish Horse Racing and TotoTV for its customer, Finnish gaming company Veikkaus Oy.

At Cabsat 2018, running in Dubai January 14 to 16, 2018, stand ZB5-D60, Broadcast Solutions GmbH will be exhibiting new and exciting products with the focus on wireless communication, plus showing cutting-edge solutions for mobile productions, studio-/ playout-facilities and SNG technology. As a premiere Broadcast Solutions teams up with company ChyronHego. With this new cooperation in the Middle East broadcast market, both companies will bring ChyronHego’s technology for graphics creation, playout or real-time data visualisation to the trade show floor.

German System Integrator Broadcast Solutions GmbH takes its Broadcast Innovation Days series to Finland and Sweden. The company starts the year 2018 with two events, one in Helsinki (January 30) and one in Stockholm (February 1). Registration is possible free of charge at www.broadcast-innovation-days.com. In close cooperation with Turkish company Polimeks Broadcast Solutions GmbH has delivered a huge fleet to Turkmenistan TV, consisting of 16 vehicles (4 sets) in two phases of construction. Each set of production vehicles delivered consists of an OB Trailer, Support Tender, generator vehicle and an SNG. The last set, delivered this year, is conducted completely in UHD. Polimeks is the general contractor for the Ashgabat Olympic Complex in Turkmenistan and coordinates all broadcast facilities on-site. All production resources were used at the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games that took place from 17 to 27 September 2017 at Ashgabat Olympic Complex, Turkmenistan. Besides delivering the OB Vans to Turkmenistan TV, Broadcast Solutions was on-site during the competitions to support the production and the teams.

NEP Switzerland now works with its second 4K/UHD OB Van unit, again conceived and delivered by Broadcast Solutions GmbH. The Swiss company doubled its 4K production resources in readiness for broadcast production work on the 2017/2018 season of the Swiss Raiffeisen Super League (RSL). The newly added UHD 42 OB Van is currently in use for producing of the Swiss Premier Football League’s games in 4K/UHD. Like the previous OB Van, UHD 42 is based on Broadcast Solutions’ Streamline Family of OB Vans. UHD 42 is the newest model of the Alphaline model, a variant of the Streamline OB Vans. This Alphaline OB Van offers two production areas and supports up to 10 camera productions, thus making use of more freedom for the customer in choosing room concepts and equipment.
