When crises or catastrophes occur, public mobile networks can be corrupted or destroyed so that ‚first responders‘, emergency services, special forces and the crisis management can no longer communicate effectively and securely amongst themselves. In such scenarios, the concept of the Mesh infrastructure can, in addition to video data, provide further content:

  • IP-data
  • PTT mobile radio
  • E-mail and messaging
  • Topographic maps
  • Blueprints of buildings
  • Tracking information

Mesh systems use devices that are simultaneously a receiver and a transmitter. The so-called radio nodes network themselves independently and automatically and thereby build a stable and intelligent network.
