Broadcast Solutions boosts RTVE productivity with hi human interface Intuitive systems control for outside broadcast fleet
Broadcast Solutions, one of Europe’s largest media systems integration groups, has successfully installed its innovative hi human interface system into RTVE's largest outside broadcast truck, which is operated by the Spanish national broadcaster. This state-of-the-art system has already been deployed in other vehicles within RTVE's fleet, proving its reliability and effectiveness. The hi human interface, supplied to RTVE by Unitecnic, Broadcast Solutions' partner in Spain, introduces a fresh and intuitive approach to systems control through its user-friendly graphical interface.

Broadcast Solutions, one of Europe’s largest media systems integration groups, will bring two of its recently completed outside broadcast trucks to IBC2023 (15 – 18 September, RAI Amsterdam, outside exhibit area 0.A01). They are a large articulated truck custom built for SuperSport, and a recent fixed-chassis 12 camera unit based on the Broadcast Solutions Streamline family to be delivered to Remotion. The site will also see demonstrations of the innovative meshLINK wireless transmission system.

Broadcast Solutions builds huge new OB for Supersport - All-IP Ultra HD truck brings new production flexibility and power to South Africa
Broadcast Solutions, one of Europe’s largest media systems integration groups, has delivered a new outside broadcast truck, known as IP1, to Supersport. Thanks to South Africa’s traffic regulations, the new truck is probably one of the largest outside broadcast vehicle ever built: the trailer is 16 m long, 4.3 m high and 2.6 m wide while travelling, 5 m when expanded.

Swiss SRG relies on mobile and decentralised commentary control solution
Swiss public broadcaster SRG relies on a new, revised, decentralised Commentary Control Room solution, developed jointly by the Swiss broadcaster with Broadcast Solutions. The systems integration specialist Broadcast Solution realised the latest concept by incorporating the necessary technology and various connection possibilities into a compact vehicle. Equipped with a 4-wheel drive, air conditioning, UPS, cable drums and equipment, the new production tool, called COSMO, weighs less than 3.5 tonnes and offers a maximum of workflows and equipment in the smallest possible space.

Studio Berlin has added a new large UHD/HDR OB van to its fleet, U10, which has already been successfully used to broadcast the German Television Award (RTL). OB van U10 is designed as a trailer with two extensions (one over the entire length and one in the audio control room). With around 60 m2, the vehicle offers 26 workstations with people benefitting from a relaxed working atmosphere. U10 can handle productions with up to 24 UHD/HDR cameras, plus additional wireless cameras.

O2 Czech Republic ramps up its OB van fleet with a new Streamline S12T OB from Broadcast Solutions
The mobile network company O2 Czech Republic covers the country’s major soccer league for a couple of years now. With additional games and projects being on the table the company added a new Broadcast Solutions Streamline OB van to its fleet, complementing an existing model systems integrator Broadcast Solutions delivered a couple of years ago. The new OB van is a S12T from the Streamline OB van family (based on a truck chassis) and works with up to 12 cameras (HD). As was the case for the first OB Broadcast Solutions again cooperated with Slovak partners ELEKTRONIKA a.s. and IVC s.r.o. to build and deliver the Streamline S12T to the customer.

Media Online GmbH becomes Broadcast Solutions Products und Service GmbH
As of 1 July 2020, Media Online GmbH, based in Frankfurt (Main), is now trading as Broadcast Solutions Produkte und Service GmbH, thus moving even closer to the parent company of the Broadcast Solutions Group. Following the takeover of Media Online GmbH by Broadcast Solutions GmbH in 2017, the name change is a further step towards bundling and expanding the company's competencies.
For more than 25 years, Media Online GmbH has been offering the perfect solutions for the workflows and projects of customers from the media sector with service, passion and high standards. With the integration into the Broadcast Solutions Group, we will combine the distinctive expertise in service even more strongly with the competencies of one of the largest system integrators in Europe. For customers, everything remains the same in terms of contact persons, customer focus and company headquarters. Broadcast Solutions Produkte und Service GmbH will continue to support customers in the DACH sector from its offices in Frankfurt (Main) and Stuttgart.

Full-IP OB Twins Usher in a New Era for Belgium’s RTBF
In early April 2020, RTBF, Belgium’s public broadcaster for the country’s French-speaking community, took delivery of the first of two groundbreaking, full-IP OB trucks. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the 12 m long trailer had to be configured remotely using TeamViewer, a few web cameras and microphones for confirmation purposes as well as via VPN in order to be delivered on time. The second identical OB truck, also built by Broadcast Solutions, will arrive in July.

After the company completed a major order for Belteleradiocompany last year that consisted four HD OB Vans (including support trucks), an additional vehicle will now follow. ONT - the second public broadcaster in Belarus has received delivery of an OB Van developed by Broadcast Solutions.
